I lived here as a student at Duke from June 1970 until June 1971 with three other students. I would love to know more of the history of the property if anyone has information

I bought this house many years ago and have done extensive renovations to it. It had no central heat when I bought it, so put in new heating and air system. The house had been butchered over the years with a horrendous dropped ceiling and cheap paneling. I removed the drop ceiling, painted and refinished the gorgeous heart pine floors. I also rewired the house to code and replaced all of the plumbing (also to code). Just a few years back, I put on a new roof and a standing seam roof over the front porch. I made many repairs to the exterior and painted by taking it down to the wood first. I think this lovely house is ready for another 100 years now!

Jane, so glad to see this home returned to its "glory." I lived next door at 110 W. Trinity from birth til I was ten years old. On my few infrequent trips back to Durham over the years, I have always made a point of visiting this street. It hold so many memories. When I was growing up, our front yard had a beautiful crepe myrtle tree we used to climb on as kids. Hated to see that the tree is no longer there.
