Thanks, Andrew. I started with the East Durham Elevated water Tank in the background of photo #1 and backtracked to East Main & Dillard St. vicinity, went to the DigitalNC website & browsed the Urban Renewal maps & photos in that area.

Wow, Charles, nice call. Here's the Urban Renewal page for 114 Peachtree on the DigitalNC website: http://library.digitalnc.org/cdm4/document.php?CISOROOT=/durham&CISOPTR…

This block of Peachtree Place was 'renewed' into the present-day public housing project adjacent to the Oldham Towers building on E. Main St. There is still one block of Peachtree Place that terminates near the intersection of N. Dillard St. & Holloway St. across from WTVD studios. See listing for Holloway St.

Correction - that is 114 Peachtree Place, where the woman is standing on the porch, in the first photo.

This is the 100 block of Peachtree Lane in east Durham between Liberty Street & Elizabeth Street in the Urban Renewal Project 6A, N.C. R-52.
