1 1⁄2-story side-gabled brick Tudor Cottage with a slate roof, 2 hipped dormer windows, and an exterior end chimney. Other features are a front-gable wing, a recessed front porch with Tudor-style posts, and windows with Tudor-style wood lintels. The wood casements are probably replacements. Duke University professor William W. Elliott was the owner-occupant in 1940.
