D. Ernest Ward House. 2-story hip-roofed Craftsman-style house with a hipped dormer window, an entrance with a bracketed gable stoop, and a side Craftsman porch with brick piers and shingled posts. The lower front windows are replacement picture windows, but the remaining windows have 1-over-1 sash that are probably original. 1930 CD: D. Ernest Ward occupant (supt. Redrying plant, American Suppliers Inc. (Durham Division). 1937 SM.
