Ike and Mary (Teer) Harris -  Frank and Betty Kenan House

3900 Dover Road

Georgian Colonial Revival, Ca 1959

This structure, home to two prominent Durham families, the Teer/Harris's and the Kenans was razed for new construction on August 22nd 2006.  In the most dramatic example of a teardown and infill in Hope Valley's history, this home was razed to the ground in less than a few hours, after having sat empty for over a year.
