    The ATT building is the original long distance toll building that worked in conjunction with the adjacent Durham Telephone, GTE, Verizon now Frontier local phone service toll building, which originally housed an operator switchboard - today the adjacent building houses telco equipment and customer services personnel

The former AT&T switching station at 3003 N. Roxboro Road, built in 1928, which now belongs to Verizon (along with the looks-like-a-tree-to-me cell tower,) 10.26.08
