This house was torn down in July, 2017 by a general contractor and realtor, Bram Luknight, in order to build a bigger house for resale.  There were architectural features that could have been salvaged but were instead destroyed.  This is at least the fifth building that Luknight has torn down in Old North Durham alone.  This is what is happening in Durham in 2017.

    RIP

When will Preservation Durham establish a Hall of Shame to immortalize people like Luknight?

Thanks for adding the listing for 413 E. Trinity, John. A good reminder that historical structures are still in danger in 2017
