Ella Marcom House. Pyramidal cottage with shallow front and side gabled wings and a full front porch with replacement posts and railings. Other original features are German siding and 2-over-2 sash windows. 1930-1940 CDs: Ella Marcom, widow of George, occupant.

Old farmstead along Angier Ave.

Owned by the Coca-Cola bottling company of Durham as of 2014. Appears from a distance to be deteriorating / to have lost its windows. Still standing as of spring 2020. This house was demolished in 2021.

The house at 119-121 Stokes Street was surveyed by the NC State Historic Preservation Office in May 1979. The photographs below were taken by Janet Silber and are from that survey. This turn-of-the-century structure was described by the field surveyor as the only house in the neighborhood with a detached kitchen. It was demolished prior to 1993...

Robert Ellis House. Gable-and-wing 2-story house with a hip roof. Vinyl siding, with brick siding beneath the porch. Replacement porch posts and replacement vinyl sash windows. 1930-1940 CDs: Robert S. Ellis owner/occupant (grocer at 209 S. Maple St.)
