OpenDurham.org is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of our community. Run by our parent nonprofit, Preservation Durham, the site requires routine maintenance and upgrades. Was built or modified to be a Dairy Queen in the 1970s

Back in the 1970's this was called "Ken's Quickie Mart". I lived in one of the mill houses on Orient street and went there fairly often.
