Southern Repair Service is still in business today. It was founded in 1950. Owned by same man that owns Bergmans Rentals.

I think the '7' is part of a 7UP sign.

My guess would be in the area of Duke St and Proctor. This is based on the '7' that is on the right side of the building, perhaps that's the address. Also there appears to be another commercial structure in the background and the store is on a corner lot.

This is indeed a photo of the store on the corner of Proctor St and Edge Row,it was orig Charlie Magolias store then Henry Wards,It was a great neighbour hood Grocery
