Incorporated on April 23, 1974 as the Historic Preservation Society of Durham, Inc., Preservation Durham has served as Durham's historic preservation nonprofit organization with a mission to protect Durham’s culturally diverse history, heritage, and historic assets through education, advocacy and action.
